FAQ
Questions CPAs ask before signing up
The product
Who is StatLedgr for?
Philippine CPA practices, from solo practitioners to larger firms, who prepare clients’ year-end financial statements and annual income tax returns.
Is it bookkeeping software?
No. You keep your clients’ books however you do now. StatLedgr starts from the trial balance and does the year-end work: adjusting entries, the worksheet, depreciation, income tax, notes and the FS package.
Which business types and frameworks does it handle?
Sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations, each with the right equity accounts: the proprietor’s capital and drawing, partners’ capital and drawing, or capital stock, reserves and retained earnings. Statements can be prepared under Full PFRS, PFRS for SMEs, PFRS for Small Entities or the income tax basis.
Which tax computations are included?
Graduated rates and the 8% option for individuals, and RCIT / MCIT for corporations, laid out per BIR 1701, 1701-MS and 1702-RT for 2018 onwards. The RR 15-2010 taxes and licenses note and the NOLCO schedule are included.
Can I bring last year’s figures in?
Yes. Enter or upload a new client’s beginning balances once. After that, each year’s beginning balances carry forward from last year’s closing, along with the notes’ wording and order.
Plans and billing
What does one payment cover?
One fiscal year, for all your clients: their statements and returns for that year. FY 2026 is usually paid during the January–April 2027 filing season. For a client whose fiscal year doesn’t end in December, FY 2026 is the year ending in 2026.
Do I pay every month?
No. You pay once per fiscal year. Earlier years stay viewable whether or not you renew.
What happens when I have more clients than my plan includes?
Add companies from Billing at your plan's extra-company price, e.g. ₱1,200 each on Starter. If a bigger plan would cost less for your number of clients, Billing tells you.
How do I change plan?
In Billing, click Switch to … on the plan you want. Your current fiscal year is re-priced on the new plan and you pay only the difference. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at once, without a refund.
Is there a discount for paying early?
Yes. Pay for a fiscal year before the 1 January that follows it and it’s 15% off.
Can I reuse a finished client’s slot for another client?
Once a company has trial balance data, its slot stays used until your next fiscal year, even if you deactivate it or change it to another client’s name or TIN. Fixing a typo in the name or TIN is free.
How can I pay?
Online with GCash, Maya, credit or debit card, or online banking, through the payment provider’s secure page. You can also create an invoice and pay by bank transfer or over the counter; the year activates once the deposit is confirmed.
The Free Trial
What does the trial include?
Every feature for one client company, including the full FS package. Printouts carry a “TRIAL — NOT FOR FILING” watermark, and exports and support tickets are for paid plans.
How long is it?
One month from sign-up. If you sign up between October and December, it runs to 31 January so you can try it on real filing-season work.
What happens when it ends?
Your records become view-only. Choose a paid plan in Billing to keep encoding; nothing you entered is lost.
Your team and your data
How do I add my staff?
From Team, the owner or an admin issues an invitation code. Your staff create their account with it and join your firm with the role the code sets.
Can I work for more than one firm?
Yes. One account can belong to several firms; you choose which firm to work in after signing in.
Who can see my clients?
Only your firm's members, limited by their role. See Security for how data is protected.
Where is the user guide?
The full User Guide is open to everyone, signed in or not.
